Meet the Authors

Justin Hohlen

Hello, I am Justin and I am the founder and regular author on this blog. I am a senior in Animal Ecology at Iowa State University with minors in Anthropology and Biology. I am studying to go to veterinary school. I want to focus on game animal medicine. I have loved wildlife since my childhood. I was inspired by great communicators of wildlife like Steve Irwin, Jack Hanna, and Jeff Corwin. I love going out into nature and looking at wildlife as well as taking pictures. One of my favorite experiences was going to Yellowstone National Park. There is a lot to learn from and see in nature.

Hello everyone, I'm Ethan Schreiber. I'm currently a senior at Iowa State University working on my bachelors degree in Animal Ecology for Pre-Vet and Wildlife Care.

Haley Carr

Hello everyone, my name is Haley and I am a junior attending Iowa State University. I am currently majoring in Animal Ecology with focuses in Wildlife Care and Interpretation. I have yet to narrow down my exact field of interest, but am spending my time getting experiences in research, animal care, and wildlife education.
